Stay Home, Listen to Podcasts - Episode 51
This week we take a short break from the Covid-19 pandemic to preview some of our favorite local Nashville podcasts. Let's be honest, we can only listen to ourselves so much and we're sure you can too.
Gettin' Crunk Like A Mutha - Episode 50
A few weeks back the dads got together to record something special for their 50th episode. They were then kicked out of the studio by their better halves, who proceeded to take over the Raising Nashville Podcast. This week they're telling our Listenership what they do when the dads are sequestered in Juicebox's spare room, and giving you the scoop on some of their favorite spots to take your kids, and Get Crunk Like a Mutha. Enjoy, and continue to practice social distancing y'all.
Panic At The Costco - Episode 49
This wasn't the episode we planned on putting out. But a lot of things changed last Wednesday, and the Coronavirus, AKA COVID-19, became front and center in everyone's mind (although it probably already should have been). We're diving into the timeline of the spread of this virus. From when the first case was reported on December 31, up to where we are today, (well Sunday). We talk about the cascade of cancellations and closures and the effects they have on working parents. Then, when things are at their heaviest, Bucky hits us with a Paul Walker conspiracy that leaves us all speechless.

It's our 1 year anniversary episode! One year of speaking non-sense on parenting, Nashville and our pop-culture love. Drinking With Joysticks - Episode 47
The flashing lights and sounds, the smell of cigarettes and pizza(?), picking out an eraser to spend your 10,000 ski ball tickets on. If you're around our age you probably remember the overwhelming sensation of walking through an arcade as a kid.

Then we reminisce about our favorite childhood vacations and what we look forward to taking with our kids. Also, we refer to Disney World as Disney Land about 50 times in the episode, so just get past that.
Come Play With Us - Episode 42
Quick, what was your favorite toy growing up? Chances are one or two specific toys popped into your head right then. If you have kids, what do you think their answer will be when they're your age? On this weeks episode we're unboxing (not literally) the toys that our kids are playing with and comparing them to the toys we grew up with. Tune in as Old Boy discusses the disturbing fact that the Peppa Pig themed kitchen set has a sound effect that is obviously bacon frying, Bucky complains about how none of his kids toys are fun enough for him to play with, then old man Juicebox explains the difference between a Remote Control Car and a Radio Control Car. So cuddle up with My Buddy, snuggle up with that Glow Worm, and pop another clip in that Nerf gun, it's time for another episode of the Raising Nashville Podcast.

Transportainment - Episode 35
Pedal Taverns, a limo decked out to look like a boat, a tractor pulling a trailer, a bus with a hot tub. Chances are, if you've been to downtown Nashville, or any other tourist trap, you've seen at least one of these slow moving vehicles, usually with drunk people hanging off yelling "Wooooo" at the top of their lungs. This week we're discussing the "Transportainment" movement in Nashville. We'll go through a list of all the Transportainment vehicles currently operating in our city, and come up with some of our own. We also flew friend of the show, Shane LaRue, in from L.A. just to make him go downtown and experience a few of these slow moving, binge drinkeries and report back to us, because we sure as hell weren't going to do it.
You Don't Want To Do This - Episode 34
A few weeks back, before we sat down to record our Hot Chicken episode, Bucky came rolling in, fired up about some "Haunted House" called McKamey Manor. He proceeded to describe to Juicebox and Old Boy, in detail, the history of this "Haunt" and it's owner/proprietor Russ McKamey. After 45 minutes of Bucky trying to convince us that he could make it through the Haunted House that no one has made it through Juicebox finally got fed up, yelling "Shut up about this stupid torture house!" Fast forward three weeks and here we are talking about it on a podcast, much to Juicebox's displeasure. We'll dive into some of the things that could happen to you if you decide to attempt the Manor (spoiler, it's torture), speculate on what the real point of all of this is and ponder what type of person would want to attempt this (Bucky). Enjoy?
