Return To Beasthouse - Episode 73
If there's one thing we learned this week that a pandemic can't take away it's haunted houses. They've already been wearing masks for years right? Now it's your turn to wear one, head on down to last year's Raising Nashville favorite Beast House and maybe pee a little. Do they still grab you during Covid? A little. Do they still have the disgusting money back challenge? Yes. Is that guy with the snow shovel still attempting to scare people in the parking lot? Absolutely. This week we grabbed a former director of a haunted house and someone who's only experience with haunts was southern Baptist rapture houses in the 90's to come with us. So pay the extra 8 bucks to skip the line and check out this weeks episode - Return To Beasthouse (Was this a good idea?). We promise not to make you pee.

Rock The Vote 2020 - Episode 71
You know what I'm sure everyone wants to hear right now? Two middle class white dudes talk about the importance of this election. Because lets be painfully honest, we probably have the least to personally lose from the outcome of this election. So this week Bucky and Juicebox decided to take a back seat and let their better halves talk about this years election and the importance of it. Dana and Stephanie give us a breakdown of their voting history (no judgement, we all start somewhere), let us know where to register if you haven't already, and talk about the importance of younger people working the polls, especially in a year where a pandemic is having its way with our country. Enjoy taking a break from the dads this week and learn something in the process.

On this weeks episode we're debuting the first episode in our "What's for Lunch" series, where we pick a locally owned restaurant and talk to the owner about how they started and what sets them apart. This week we were lucky enough for owner of Coneheads, Marcus Buggs, to take some time out of his busy schedule to tell us about his unique take on Chicken and Waffles. If you're not hungry now, you will be after this episode. So check out Coneheads in person at 1315 Dickerson Pike or order online at

You also might catch a story of an infamous freshman year homecoming party that Bucky attended (hint: there's a big lie involved). So channel your inner George Washington and tune in to this weeks episode for all this and so.much more. Jim Carey would be proud.
What Phase Is It!?! - Episode 64
What phase is it?!?!? With the ever evolving state of Nashville we found it our civic duty to bring our listenership a few updates on Music City, USA. Did MNPS rise to the occasion during our all new virtual learning environment or were kids caught using cuss words in the chat? What happened to the New Orleans style trend of taking drinks to-go? Was the 34% property tax increase warranted? Did a Tennessee politician really spend less than 25 thousand dollars and still come away with the win? No...we're not talking about you Manny Sethi! Taking a Break - Episode 62
2020 has been an interesting year. The Tennessee Titans ALMOST make the Super Bowl (it was a BIG deal around town folks) then we all go into lockdown for months, now we're witnessing as a large chunk of the country becomes aware that no, racism never truly went away. Throughout all of this we've been trying to push on and put out episodes that we think our listenership would like. But now it's time to take to take a little step back to reflect on everything that's happened so far this year and study up on some future topics. We're taking a little break, but we'll be back later this summer with new episodes on Nashville, parenting, or just something random that we think is relevant. Thanks for listening and we'll talk at you again soon.

The Gray Eyed Man Of Destiny - Episode 60
Every city has that one former resident that they just wish everyone would forget. For Nashville that person was William Walker. No, he wasn't a failed country artist, (that would be so much better) he WAS a monster and a racist who wanted to take over a country south of the border. And he somehow managed to convince a bunch of the 1850's versions of frat boys to join him on his expedition. He has some successes and failures and (spoiler alert) ends up on the wrong, or right, side of a Honduran firing squad. So join us today for a history lesson about one of Nashville's more despicable natives. Enjoy?
What Is That? - Episode 59
Straws, buffalo, a naked person playing tambourine. We're talking about WILD bachelorette parties on this weeks episode. Just kidding, although that does sound pretty awesome, we're actually talking about some of the public artwork around town and the stories behind them. Did you know the sculpture on the river is called Ghost Ballet and it is made up of parts from roller coasters from the now defunct Opryland USA? (it's not) Did you know the "pick up sticks" at the 8th Ave roundabout are based off Native American something or other? Tune in for some facts and myths surrounding some of our cities iconic artwork and maybe learn something.
The More You Know (About Murder) - Episode 58
This week the guys are diving into the darker, seedy side of Nashville's history. No, we're not talking about the prostitute barge or the hot tub bus (you know you're gross), we're talking about crimes that put Nashville on edge. There was the murder of a Girl Scout in the Green Hills area, there was the murder of a Chart Director on Music Row, and several fast food murders in the late 90's that shook everyone.
I Will Do My Best - Episode 57

The First Saturday In May - Episode 55
Back in January Bucky, Juicebox, and Oldboy were approached by a member of their listenership with an opportunity to not only go to the Kentucky Derby, but to sit in a box. If you know anything about the Derby you know what a big deal this is. In honor of that invite we recorded an episode about the history of the Kentucky Derby and some of interesting celebrities that had attended over the years. Our intention was to record the 2nd half of the podcast after attending the Derby.... welp, so much for that idea. Instead we decided to get together and talk about some of our favorite experiences from Derby's past with the help of 17 time Kentucky Derby attendee & Juicebox's better half, Dana. Sure this episode is a little long, but you probably have a lawn to mow or some landscaping to take care of, so crush up some fresh mint, dump some bourbon on top of it, chug it, listen to this podcast, and pretend we're actually living in a different timeline.
BINGE! - Episode 54
On this weeks episode they guys are talking about everybody's favorite past time during lock down, Binging. But we don't just talk about what we're binging, we're calling some friends of the show from around the country to check in on what they're binging and how they're surviving.
